Your settings, your journey up the tree, your Lumen, your firefly companions and your best scores are stored locally on your device. They never pass through any server of ours — we don't have one.
If you're signed into iCloud, your progress (the branch you've reached, unlocked fireflies, and your daily-gift streak) syncs between your devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This data lives in your Apple account, is transferred by Apple, and is never visible to us. You can erase it any time with Settings → The Journey → Begin the Night Anew inside the game, or by managing iCloud data in your device settings.
Leaderboards, achievements and multiplayer flights use Apple's Game Center. Your Game Center nickname and scores are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We receive no personal information from it.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see your name, email or payment details. To deliver and restore what you've bought, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives purchase receipts tied to a random, app-scoped identifier — not to your identity. Purchases can always be restored from Settings.
The app contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. It will never show you Apple's "Allow this app to track you?" prompt, because there is nothing to ask about.
Glimmerwing collects no personal data from anyone — including children. There is nothing to consent to and nothing to delete on our side, because nothing ever leaves your device or your own Apple account.
If the game ever changes in a way that touches your data, this page will be updated before that version ships, with the effective date above.
